Dr. Justin Cortina is the restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in The Woodlands, TX. He earned his dental degree from the University of Southern California and completed his three-year prosthodontics residency at Texas A&M School of Dentistry. Originally from just outside Los Angeles, he has been based in Texas for the last four years.
Dr. Cortina’s interest in working with his hands started young—remodeling homes with his father and later working on cars—and grew into a fascination with dentistry after his orthodontist took him under his wing during his teenage years. He’s a detail-oriented provider who loves being able to picture the end result of a case and work carefully back from there.

Tanya McGowan, CRNA
Tanya McGowan is the CRNA and anesthesia provider at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in The Woodlands, TX. She earned an MBA and worked at AT&T before pursuing anesthesia, going on to complete a master’s in nurse anesthesia at LSU and a doctorate in nurse anesthesia at Texas Wesleyan. At home, they share their lives with a full crew of animals: a dog, seven parrots, two turtles, and some frogs.
Dr. Delsaz Sultan
Dr. Delsaz Sultan is the restorative dentist and prosthodontist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in The Woodlands, TX. She earned her dental degree from Boston University in 2013 and completed her prosthodontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. She brings 10 years of prosthodontics experience to the team.
Dr. Sultan found that dentistry was the perfect blend of two lifelong loves: biology and science on one side, and art on the other.
