Dr. Nicholas Breig is deeply committed to providing the highest level of Oral Surgery services with empathy and compassion - traits that have been nurtured over many years of advanced training.
After graduating through an accelerated route with a BS in Biology from Brigham Young University, his studies took him to the Bay Area, where he attended dental school at UCSF attaining his dental degree (DDS). His interests in medicine and oral surgery took him to Southern California, where he received his medical degree (MD) from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
He then completed an internship in General Surgery with a focus on surgical oncology, trauma surgery, and critical care. Following this, Dr. Breig returned to dentistry to refine his skills in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including complex dental extractions, dental implant surgery, and general anesthesia.
During his final year of training, he served as Chief Resident under nationally renowned surgeons. After his rigorous training, Dr. Breig joined the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Santa Clara as a Senior Physician in the Maxillofacial Surgery Department, specializing in reconstructive jaw surgery.
At Stanford University School of Medicine, he held an academic appointment and actively trained residents in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also held an academic appointment at Loma Linda University in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, he achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow status with the American College of Surgeons.
