As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Dallin Parkinson strives to blend excellence and compassion in all he does. This has been a pattern throughout his life. He was valedictorian of his high school (Bella Vista High School), college (Brigham Young University), and dental school (Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine Arizona). He also served as a volunteer missionary in Costa Rica for two years prior to entering dental school. He then went on to have a phenomenal 4-year experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, averaging 100 hours per week operating on and consulting with patients in the emergency department, operating room, and multiple clinics.

As a culminating capstone to his professional training, he completed the rigorous board certification process, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an expert in dentoalveolar and implant surgery, ambulatory anesthesia, facial trauma, maxillofacial infections, corrective jaw surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction, and temporomandibular joint pathology. Throughout his career, Dr. Parkinson has been drawn to the deep satisfaction of rebuilding functional, beautiful smiles. This ultimately led him to Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Las Vegas, where he creates the surgical foundation for exceptional, personalized smiles daily.

Personal Life

While on this professional journey of discovery, development, and service, Dr. Parkinson met and married his lovely wife, Charly. They now have three beautiful daughters (and counting). They have recently upgraded to a family minivan and love exploring the outdoors together. Dr. Parkinson also volunteers regularly in his church and community. He recognizes the contribution of parents, teachers, mentors, and friends in his successes, and finds joy in building those around him. Meet Dr. Goodman, the charismatic dental implant surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Las Vegas. Residing in Henderson, Nevada, Dr. Goodman has led a life as vibrant as the places he's lived—from Salt Lake City to the Bahamas. Though his father was a dentist, Dr. Goodman charted his own course. He initially pursued pre-med at the University of Utah before recognizing that dentistry was his true calling. He earned his dental degree from Southern Illinois University and completed his residency in Missouri. While he began his career in general dentistry, he ultimately specialized in prosthodontics.

Personal Life

Dr Goodman has 4 kids and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys running in the mountains on the outskirts of Las Vegas and spending time outside. When he isn’t at the office or pursuing his hobbies, Dr Goodman is spending time with his grandchildren or finding a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

Dr. Summer Lane is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who loves to help create a new smile for patients with full mouth dental implants.

She majored in Biology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Upon completing dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, she spent one year at Louisiana State University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship. Dr. Lane then went on to complete a four-year residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Summer Lane Currently serves the community of Las Vegas at Nuvia Dental Implant Center by providing Permanent Teeth in 24 Hours.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Dr. Alex Isom is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with more than 12 years of experience in the dental field.

He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2006 after which he completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Isom married his wife, Heather, in 2003 and they now live in Salt Lake City with their children.

After years placing dental implants, Dr. Isom was thrilled to join the Nuvia team in 2022 and provide permanent teeth in 24 hours.

Dr. Alhashim is a Board Certified Prosthodontist with more than 15 years of experience in the dental field.

He completed his residency in prosthodontics at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Dr. Alhashim is an avid cyclist and enjoys running, as well. After years of working in private practice and academia, both nationally and internationally, he was thrilled to join the Nuvia team in 2022 and provide not just dental implants, but permanent teeth in 24 hours.
