Dr. Ryne Johnson, DMD, is the restorative dentist and prosthodontist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Providence, RI. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University, earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and finished his prosthodontics training at Tufts University. Ann Dowd is the CRNA and anesthesia provider at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Providence, RI. She graduated from St. Vincent Hospital’s anesthesia program in 1982 and has been practicing anesthesia for more than 40 years.

Ann spent most of her career in Level I trauma centers before moving into office-based cosmetic surgery a few years ago and now joining the Nuvia team in Providence.

She also recently traveled to Italy—her first trip to Europe—and is looking forward to more travel ahead.

Dr. Venkataraman’s path into dentistry started in college, when he shadowed a friend’s mom who was a dentist. He was drawn to the long-term patient relationships and the meaningful change dentistry can make in someone’s life. In dental school, time in the oral surgery clinic clarified the rest—he fell in love with the surgical side of the field and never looked back.
