Dr. Dennis Pezzolesi
Dr. Pezzolesi originally went to college with plans to be a physician. However, he soon discovered that a career in dentistry would give him opportunities to be creative and artistic while still working in healthcare.
He completed his undergraduate before going to dental school at Tuft University in Boston. Afterwards, he did a general practice residency that focused on prosthodontics at New England Medical Center before working as a restorative dentist in Boston.

After 37 years of practice, Dr. Dennis Pezzolesi has joined the Nuvia team in Boston, MA. He shares that he was drawn to the opportunity to do what he loves most- designing something that will create a beautiful and functional result for patients.
Dr. Pezzolesi finds the work he does to be incredibly rewarding. It’s more than just fixing teeth, it’s transforming lives.
Those that know him know that he loves to help others feel comfortable and can usually be trusted to share a joke or two with patients. Dr. Pezzolesi realizes that many patients have struggled with their teeth throughout their whole life and strives to help them feel comfortable and excited on their journey to getting a new smile.
Outside of Dentistry
When he isn’t at the office, Dr. Pezzolesi enjoys traveling with his wife, especially visiting warmer destinations. He also loves to workout, try new restaurants, and go on drives with his wife.

Somi Kim
Dr. Kim always knew she wanted to be in Healthcare. With examples set by both of her parents working in the field, she felt healthcare was one of the best ways she could follow her desire to help others.
Dentistry was the perfect mix of being able to take care of patients and fulfill her passion for art and creativity.
Dr. Kim completed dental school at Harvard University where she expanded her studies with an additional year for research.
Following her time at Harvard, she completed an MD program and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery for nearly a decade and is very passionate about her job.
Why Nuvia?
Between Nuvia’s innovation of traditional methods of full mouth dental implant procedures and her draw towards smile restorations, she knew being a part of the Nuvia team in Wellesley, MA would be a great opportunity to do what she loves most.
As an experienced oral surgeon in All-on-X, she has come to know that a smile transformation can often be the start of a new chapter of life for many patients.
Working with Nuvia, she loves that she can be part of the process of providing patients with permanent teeth in 24 hours rather than needing to send them home with uncomfortable temporary teeth that often need to be worn for months.
Outside of Dentistry
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim stays busy as the mom of 2 boys. She loves to cook, travel, and learn about other cultures with her family.
