Meet Dr. David Sylvester, one of Nuvia’s experienced oral surgeons at the Alpharetta, GA clinic.
About
Although he started college in Kansas City as a piano performance major, Dr Sylvester made the switch to chemistry during his undergraduate studies in preparation for dental school. Though he retains a love for the piano, his passions took him to pursue a career as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Dr. Sylvester completed both his undergraduate degree and doctorate at University of Missouri - Kansas City. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at University of Oklahoma and has been practicing now for 7 years with an impressive 10,000 dental implants and 3,500 All-on-4® arches under his belt.
Dr. Sylvester has also loved his time as a professor teaching courses on dental implants with an emphasis on full arch rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma. He continues to be involved in dental education as author of the All-on-4® chapters in the most recent Atlas of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has also lectured both nationally and internationally as a speaker for the Straumann Group. His lectures center on complex full arch (All-on-4®) treatment.
As the oral surgeon in Alpharetta, Dr. Sylvester’s choice to be part of the Nuvia team comes down to the ability to deliver incredible service and a beautiful final product for patients.
In order to provide this level of care and quality, it involves bringing together multiple people from different genres of dentistry including oral surgeons, restorative dentists, CRNAs and a laboratory. The environment at Nuvia cultivates excellence in each category.
Dr Sylvester is passionate about the work he does with full mouth dental implants. He takes seriously his craft of building a strong foundation for patients' new smiles.
Knowing that no two patients or their oral situation is the same, his message to patients is that they’ll be treated with individualized care, as if they were part of his family.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Sylvester loves to play piano. At home, his man cave consists of a beautiful grand piano in a sound-proof room with recording equipment. He also enjoys photography and is always looking for opportunities to take cool photos.
Our doctors are not just experts; they are visionaries in the field of dental implantology. With decades of surgical and restorative experience, and a passion for pioneering research, they are at the forefront of innovation.
Dr Kutob comes from a family of physicians which lead him to pursue a career in the medical field. As he attended dental school he developed a love for changing lives through dentistry. After graduation from NYU dental school, he trained under some highly experienced mentors and got a lot of experience on the surgical side of dentistry.
Having other colleagues at Nuvia Dental Implant Center, Dr Kutob was attracted to Nuvia’s ability to provide patients with permanent teeth in 24 hours. Prior to working with Nuvia, he often saw temporary teeth break, which caused frustration for patients. He loves that he can now provide patients with zirconia teeth 24 hours after surgery so they can experience the strength and durability of zirconia teeth right away.
To all the patients at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Alpharetta, Dr Kutob is looking forward to meeting with you and helping you get the smile you’ve always wanted.
Dr. Kutob is a huge foodie. He loves traveling the world and exploring different cuisines and cultures. His favorite types of food are Middle Eastern, South-East Asian, and Italien. In addition to exploring the world, he loves to cook! Dr. Kutob is also passionate about fitness as he enjoys working out and playing soccer in his free time.
As a restorative dentist who loves what he does, Dr. Kutob can frequently be found enrolled in continuing educational courses.
