Are you considering getting dental implants as a solution to restore your smile? At Nuvia Dental Implant Center, we offer a comprehensive dental implant process that is tailored to your unique needs. Our process consists of six appointments, each of which is designed to ensure your comfort and satisfaction with your new smile.
#1 The Consultation
During your consultation appointment, we will gather the necessary information to evaluate your teeth and jawbone structure. We understand that some patients may feel anxious about visiting the dentist, which is why we aim to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Instead of an invasive exam in a dental chair, you will meet with a smile consultant in a private suite. They will guide you through the process, answer any questions you have, and take a brief 3D scan and photos of your mouth. If you are a suitable candidate for dental implants, our doctor will create a custom treatment plan for you during this appointment. In addition, we will discuss the benefits of dental implants with you, so you know what to expect when getting dental implants.

Full mouth dental implants are a comprehensive solution for replacing missing or damaged teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, which can slip or move around, full mouth dental implants are anchored securely into your jawbone, providing a stable and long-lasting result. By replacing all of your missing or damaged teeth with dental implants, you can regain the ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. Dental implants are also a great option for preventing bone loss, which can occur when teeth are missing for an extended period of time. By providing support to the jawbone, dental implants can help to maintain the structure and integrity of your face. Additionally, dental implants are easy to care for and can last a lifetime with proper maintenance. With full mouth dental implants, you can enjoy a natural-looking and comfortable solution for restoring your smile and improving your overall quality of life.
#2 The Smile Design
The second appointment is the Smile Design appointment, which is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to reviewing informed consents and making sure you are fully aware of any important information that you may need to know before surgery. We will also review your medical history again to ensure that the surgeon is fully aware of your medical background, which will help achieve the best results safely. During the second part of the appointment, you get to design your new teeth! You will be able to pick the shape and shade for your new teeth with the help of our professionals. Your oral surgeon will then take specific measurements for your dental implants to ensure that your new teeth will look natural and fit well in your mouth.. They will also answer any questions you have and make sure you know what to do before and after surgery to achieve the best results.

#3 The Surgery
The third appointment is the surgery day. You will come in first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. You will meet with the anesthesia provider, who will confirm your medical history and perform a brief exam, which typically includes taking your heart rate, blood pressure, and confirming you are fasting for the required time to go under anesthesia, which is typically 12 hours. After meeting with your surgeon, the anesthetist will sedate you, and you will be asleep while the procedure takes place. Once the procedure is complete, you will wake up most likely feeling groggy and tired, and it's recommended to go home and take a long nap. You may feel sleepy as the anesthesia wears off, and it's important to listen to your body and rest as much as you need to.

#4 The Next Day Delivery
The fourth appointment is the next day delivery. This is when you will come back to the office and receive your brand new teeth. This is a thrilling moment for both you and the Nuvia team, as we've worked hard to ensure your new smile is perfect. We understand that this is an emotional moment, and we will be there to support you in any way we can.

#5 The 2 Week Post-Op
The fifth appointment is the 2-week post-op appointment. At this appointment, we will check in with you to make sure you are healing well and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
#6 The 4 Month Post-Op/Reline
The sixth appointment is the 4-month post-op appointment. At this appointment, your dental implants will have either fully integrated into the bone or be very close to doing so. We dedicate this appointment to addressing any changes that may have occurred since the surgery. We understand that the mouth is expected to change from day one after the surgery until month four, and we are prepared to address any changes that may have occurred during that time at this appointment to make sure everything fits and looks as it should.
After that, you are done with your treatment!
You will continue on a regular cleaning schedule and come see us for a professional cleaning and check-up appointment every 3-6 months depending on the doctor recommendation. During this appointment, we will take a 3D scan to evaluate your dental implants and clean and polish your prosthetic. From there, you will be ready to go until your next cleaning.
You deserve a tailored and friendly no judgment approach to dental implant surgery, and that is what you will get at Nuvia.
