Dr. William Phillips is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He earned his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry—now part of the Texas A&M University system—in 1997, and completed his oral surgery training in 2003. He is board-certified and has been practicing as an oral surgeon for more than 20 years.
Dr. Phillips grew up in Denton, Texas, just north of Dallas, and practiced in the Dallas area for most of his career. He was drawn to oral surgery by his uncle, also an oral surgeon, who served as a lifelong mentor and showed him both the breadth of the field and the impact it can have on patients.
Dr. Phillips joined Nuvia for the team-based model and the level of support around the surgeon. After years in private practice and at other implant centers, he appreciates having a dedicated back office, lab, and a separate anesthesia provider—elements he sees as central to delivering this kind of treatment safely and effectively.
Outside of work, Dr. Phillips has been married to his wife for 30 years and is the dad of two grown children. He enjoys walking his dog, running—including the occasional marathon—fishing, and riding motorcycles. He’s also a lifelong tinkerer; his current project is restoring a 1960s hi-fi stereo amplifier.
Dr. Nick Bell is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2006 and has been practicing for nearly 20 years.
He got into dentistry after volunteering in a dental office during high school. At the time, he thought dentistry was just fillings and cleanings. Then he saw dental implants being placed and watched how missing teeth could be rebuilt from scratch. That changed everything for him and set the direction for his career.
Dr. Bell chose Nuvia because of how quickly patients can complete treatment. With permanent teeth in 24 hours, patients don’t spend months in temporary teeth or waiting to see their final result. He’s done it the traditional way before, and this approach removes that long waiting period.
He also values the team setup. Everyone in the office is working toward the same goal, and each step is planned ahead of time so the experience can be smooth and positive for each patient.
Outside of work, Dr. Bell spends most of his time with his family. He has two daughters who stay busy with sports and activities. He also enjoys golfing and being outdoors whenever he gets the chance.
