Dr. Chin Kim

Dr. Rouleau's journey to becoming a maxillofacial surgeon in Miami began at Laval University in Canada, where he completed his DMD program entirely in French. He then came to the United States, where he completed his residency and furthered his education at Harvard MGH (Massachusetts General Hospital), earning his MD and completing his oral maxillofacial surgery training.

Choosing dentistry was a natural decision for Dr. Rouleau, who always knew he wanted a career that allowed him to work with his hands. With a family background in medicine, surgery was a compelling field, but it was dentistry and oral surgery that truly captured his interest. He spent five years practicing general dentistry in the military before focusing on oral surgery and pursuing education as a maxillofacial surgeon. The turning point in his career came after helping a young patient who was self-conscious about her smile. Witnessing the transformative impact of dental implant surgery on her self-perception and demeanor solidified his dedication to oral surgery.

Dr. Rouleau's approach to patient care is shaped by his broad range of experiences and a genuine understanding of the difference a confident smile can make. As a maxillofacial surgeon in Miami, he has the opportunity each day to see how a new smile can change a person’s life.

Personal Life

Originally from Quebec, Dr. Rouleau has made a home in Miami, Florida since 2009, embracing the opportunities for outdoor activities that the state offers. He is an avid scuba diver, enjoys sports, and engages in recreational spearfishing and lobster harvesting. Flying planes is another passion of his, taking advantage of Florida's favorable weather. When he's not in the air or underwater, Dr. Rouleau loves to ski.

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Dallin Parkinson strives to blend excellence and compassion in all he does. This has been a pattern throughout his life. He was valedictorian of his high school (Bella Vista High School), college (Brigham Young University), and dental school (Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine Arizona). He also served as a volunteer missionary in Costa Rica for two years prior to entering dental school. He then went on to have a phenomenal 4-year experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, averaging 100 hours per week operating on and consulting with patients in the emergency department, operating room, and multiple clinics.

As a culminating capstone to his professional training, he completed the rigorous board certification process, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an expert in dentoalveolar and implant surgery, ambulatory anesthesia, facial trauma, maxillofacial infections, corrective jaw surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction, and temporomandibular joint pathology. Throughout his career, Dr. Parkinson has been drawn to the deep satisfaction of rebuilding functional, beautiful smiles. This ultimately led him to Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Las Vegas, where he creates the surgical foundation for exceptional, personalized smiles daily.

Personal Life

While on this professional journey of discovery, development, and service, Dr. Parkinson met and married his lovely wife, Charly. They now have three beautiful daughters (and counting). They have recently upgraded to a family minivan and love exploring the outdoors together. Dr. Parkinson also volunteers regularly in his church and community. He recognizes the contribution of parents, teachers, mentors, and friends in his successes, and finds joy in building those around him. Dr. Isaias Abrego has a wide academic background with education acquired in top tier universities. After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he pursued a 3 year training specialty program in Prosthodontics, Master’s of Science in Dentistry and certification as Dental Technician at Louisiana State University.

During his residency, he emphasized his training in esthetic and digital dentistry. He has been working in the field with more than 6 years of experience. This certifies him as a "Highly Skilled Professional" that performs full mouth rehabilitations and dental implant smile makeovers perfectly balancing esthetics and function.

He has lectured to universities in Latin America and The United States about Smile Design, Digital Dentistry, Esthetics, and Dental Photography.

During his free time he loves spending time with his lovely wife, cooking, and learning about science. He is a black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys all sports, especially soccer.

Dr. Jeffrey Oyama is a restorative dentist in Fullerton who completed the bulk of his training locally in California. A native of LA County, he began his college education at UC San Diego for undergraduate studies, before completing his dental education at UCLA. His commitment to mastering his craft saw him through a general residency at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center where he provided care to patients with developmental and physical disabilities.  He then returned to UCLA for an advanced prosthodontics residency program and an additional year of maxillofacial prosthetics.

Dr. Oyama's professional path is marked by significant achievements, including owning a practice and, more recently, dedicating his expertise to teaching full-time at a local dental school.

Dr. Oyama has found fulfillment in being a restorative dentist in Fullerton as he has seen how dental health can have a great impact on an individual's overall quality of life. He is particularly moved by the stories of patients who have struggled with dental issues for years who find new life and greater confidence in restoring their smile with dental implants..

When Dr. Oyama isn’t at the office as a restorative dentist he can likely be found doing photography, yoga, hiking, or a variety of outdoor activities. He is a firm believer in the importance of physical fitness and mental well-being, and loves to exercise.

Dr. Andreina Dulanto is a prosthodontist in Chicago who was originally trained in Caracas- Venezuela.

Dr. Dulanto completed an advanced education in General Dentistry program at the Santa Maria University in Caracas Venezuela. Dr. Dulanto moved to Gainesville, Florida to complete an internship in prosthodontics and her Master's Degree in Prosthodontics at UFCD. She served as the surgical chief resident in his third year, teaching and lecturing dental students in implant dentistry and prosthodontics.

Dr. Dulanto is a provider with more than 15 years of experience in the dental field as a clinician with an emphasis in prosthodontist, digital dentistry, implantology, and aesthetic dentistry. She loves to do laboratory procedures for her patient’s restorations, and make sure that they meet the ideal design and principles. She is very meticulous in treating her patients, devotes sufficient time to meeting their needs, and finds that the most rewarding moment is when her patients see their new smile and get to enjoy a life no longer limited by their teeth.

Dr. Dulanto's mission with Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Chicago is to improve her patient’s oral health exceeding their expectations with high quality and excellent care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Florida Prosthodontics Association, Academy of Osseointegration, and International Team of Implantology.

Her research interests include dental implants and will be submitted for publication in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Her hobbies include baking, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Dr. Slovan grew up in Tucson, AZ. After graduating high school, it was off to Rutgers University where he earned a full football scholarship. Dr. Slovan graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and immediately purchased a private practice in Charleston, SC.    

Dr. Slovan now lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife, Rachel, and their two boys. When he is not helping Nuvia patients change their lives by providing full mouth dental implants. He enjoys traveling, coaching his boys sports teams, and spending time with his family.
