“I didn’t think I would ever go outside again..”

The Ultimate Guide to Full Mouth Dental Implants

Wendy has been through the ringer with her smile.

A while back, Wendy lost some of her front teeth and in an attempt to fix it, she got a dental bridge

Now, dental bridges commonly replace 1-3 missing teeth and have been known to work well for some people. They are a less expensive option to replace a few missing teeth than single dental implants.

For Wendy, this worked well for her for some time. Up until the bridge fell out and took the anchoring teeth with it. As the bridge fell out, this left Wendy with a quarter of her smile GONE.

Can you imagine? All of a sudden the top HALF of your smile is a black hole?

As you will see in the video below, Wendy really struggled with feeling confident due to. She avoided going outside as much as possible so people would not see her teeth.

Because Wendy lost the majority of her upper teeth, she struggled looking anyone in the eye and may have never felt comfortable being herself. She had her guard up 24/7 knowing that people might be looking at her missing teeth.

Does this sound familiar?

Smiling is a very vulnerable thing to do, especially when the teeth you have you don’t feel comfortable with..

Sadly, this was very much the case for Wendy.

Wendy knew that she needed help to make a change in her dental health.

Wendy did her research and knew that dentures were not the option she wanted. She wanted something that would stay in her mouth permanently and allow for her to eat the foods she loves without having to be worried about them breaking.

Wendy chose Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Hansen, Wendy’s Oral Surgeon explained that Wendy did not have a lot of options left to fix her smile. He believed that Nuvia’s permanent teeth in 24 hours would be the right way to fix her smile and deliver the results she was looking for..

Wendy only needed treatment on the upper arch. Her lower teeth were healthy enough to keep.

We do not remove healthy teeth if we do not have to.

Some patients only need one arch of dental implants and wonder if it is possible for them to only do one arch. The answer is YES! We do not do unnecessary treatment on patients and want to save as many healthy teeth as possible. For Wendy, we were able to save the entire lower arch and forgo getting Dental Implants placed.

In this case, we leave her lower teeth in and match her new prosthetic up to the remaining lower teeth.

Wendy came on the morning of her surgery ready for the change. We made her comfortable and helped her fall asleep with General Anesthesia. All of our patients go to sleep during the surgery so that they do not need to be awake for any of the procedures. We care about our patients and want them to be as possible.

Once Wendy woke up, we got started on taking a few pictures and scans to get the teeth we made. We worked through the night to make sure Wendy’s new teeth were ready for her the next day and just like that, 24 hours after surgery, her life changed forever.

Once Wendy saw her new smile, she simply couldn’t stop smiling. Her true self was able to come out and she was beaming.

What would you do if you saw your brand new set of teeth for the very first time?

Watch Wendy’s life changing story as Nuvia restored her confidence to share herself with the world again.

After years of being afraid to leave her house, Wendy told us,

“I’m not afraid to go outside anymore!”

We are so honored to have had the opportunity of helping Wendy in her life. We love helping our amazing communities and patients and want to make a difference for people. We know that the world could use more smiling people.
