Dr. Kirk Simmonds

Dr. Kirk Simmonds grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Weber State University, Dr. Simmonds attended the University of Louisville school of Dentistry in Kentucky.

He then went on to a formal General Practice Residency at the University of Utah program where he received training in surgery, dental implants, and restoring complex dental implant cases. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah where he practices at Nuvia Dental Implant Center providing full mouth dental implants to patients.

Dr. Albert Park

Dr. Albert C. Park is from Vancouver, BC Canada. He attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Human Kinetics. After several years in sales and marketing, he decided to further his education at Howard University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society.

Dr. Park's desire to treat complex cases and provide highly esthetic restorative care led him to specialize at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Advanced Prosthodontics program in Chicago where he focused on dental implants and implant prosthetics. In his free time, he enjoys playing a variety of recreational sports and is an avid ice hockey fan.

Dr. J. Reed Combs

Dr. J. Reed Combs, grew up in a dual military family that required him to move around quite a bit in his early childhood.  In his later years his family settled in Colorado where he considers home.  Dr. Combs completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado and then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry.  He earned his Medical Degree and completed a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas, Texas.  His professional affiliations are AAOMS, ADA, MAOMS, VSOMS and Associate Fellow American College of Surgeons.  He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Above all else Dr. Combs is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.  In his free time, Dr. Combs enjoys the outdoors to include skiing and running.  He loves spending time with his wife and three children.

Alex Jelicich

Alex Jelicich is a prosthodontist practicing in South Florida.  He went to MIT for his undergraduate education and received his dental degree and prosthodontics certificate from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Jelicich loves working on the cutting edge of technology to help deliver beautiful smiles to his patients.  In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Jelicich enjoys all types of sports, working on passion projects like learning computer programming, and spending time with his growing family.

Dr. Jacob Buhler

Dr. Buhler was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in a military family. Dr. Buhler graduated from Utah Valley University on a Cross Country and Track and Field scholarship. After college, he was accepted and received a Military Health Profession Scholarship, in which he then moved to Oklahoma City, OK to attend Dental School at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following Dental School he was accepted into the San Antonio Military Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. He is a member of AAOMS and board certified for Diplomate Status of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

When Dr. Buhler is not providing full mouth dental implant restorations, he enjoys many activities in his spare time. He has two children, Matthew and Charlotte, which is where he prefers to spend most of his spare time, hanging out with his children. Dr. Buhler and his kids enjoy the outdoors playing at the park or pool. They also love spending time reading together, and catching up on school day adventures.

Dr. Buhler is an avid runner. Most of his free time delegated to exercising is with his marathon training. His background with collegiate running, and past successes with competitive long distance road racing, have kept his passions soaring high, as he strives to continue to meet goals in the long distance running events. He also enjoys riding his road bike, reading a good book, hiking adventures with his kids, and the swimming pool or lake.

Dr. Venkata Mohan

Dr. Mohan was born and raised in India, where he started his career in dentistry. Wanting to specialize in restorative dentistry, specifically dental implants, Dr. Mohan moved to the United States in 2012.

Dr. Mohan loves working at Nuvia because the processes and technology used to deliver dental implants is unlike anything he had seen or studied in the history of dentistry before. Dr. Mohan finds passion in being able to deliver the perfect shape, color, and material of teeth to his patients in just 24 hours after surgery. He feels this is something that will change the face of dentistry and is excited to be involved in the innovation of dentistry while working with Nuvia.

Dr. Mohan lives with his wife, daughter, and mother - and he loves being able to spend time with his family.

Dr. Lorron Tokpa

Dr. Lorron Tokpa, Prosthodontist at Nuvia Implant Center, Atlanta

Dr. Lorron Tokpa, affectionately known as "Deputy" by her colleagues and patients, is an accomplished oral surgeon at the Nuvia Implant Center's Atlanta location. Born and raised in Jamaica, Dr. Tokpa's love for the beach and water sports stems from her childhood spent enjoying the outdoors with her two siblings.

After completing her undergraduate studies at her state university, Dr. Tokpa earned her dental degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Dental School. Her postgraduate journey led her to a general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a level one trauma center. Here, she gained invaluable experience in facial reconstruction, implants, and treating medically complex patients. Her exceptional performance during her residency earned her the title of "Top Resident" and an invitation to serve as the associate program director of the GPR program.

Dr. Tokpa then transitioned to private practice, where she was recognized as one of the top doctors in Philadelphia for eight consecutive years. Her commitment to excellence in implant placement and restoration has positively impacted countless patients' lives.

In July 2022, Dr. Tokpa relocated to Georgia with her family, following her husband's job at Microsoft. She is a proud mother of two children, who keep her on her toes and bring joy to her life. Dr. Tokpa believes that dentistry is a form of functional art and is passionate about building connections with her patients. She feels humbled and privileged to play a part in each patient's journey towards a healthier, more confident smile.
