Dr. Benjamin Zuniga

Dr. Andrew Pak is a dedicated restorative dentist in Baltimore currently working with Nuvia Dental Implant Center. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Dr. Pak found that he could pursue science and art through a career in dentistry.

Dr. Pak's professional journey in dentistry began with a year of general practice, after which he shifted his focus to prosthetics as a restorative dentist. During this time, he experienced firsthand the limitations of acrylic prosthetics. At Nuvia, he has loved being able to provide patients with permanent teeth made from zirconia, a material known for its durability and strength.

What Dr. Pak loves most about working at Nuvia is the environment of passion and innovation it fosters, aligning perfectly with his own professional values. Outside of the Office

When he isn’t working as a restorative dentist, Dr. Pak is a true hobbyist. Outside the office he can be found 3D printing and sculpting, pursuing photography, or doing yoga. He also loves spending time with his wife whether it be cooking, watching movies, or just hanging out.

Dr. Jay Ramirez is a highly skilled oral surgeon at the Orlando Nuvia Implant Center. With over 14 years of experience in private practice, he has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care to his patients. Dr. Ramirez's expertise in dental implant procedures and his commitment to patient satisfaction make him a valuable asset to the Orlando Nuvia Implant Center team.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Ramirez earned his bachelor's degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his medical degree at Harvard University in Boston. Dr. Ramirez then underwent his surgical training at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital.

When not at work, Dr. Ramirez is an avid endurance sports enthusiast. He has participated in several triathlons, including Ironman events, and has made it to Nationals three years in a row. As a father to three young daughters, he also enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Ramirez's passion for dentistry is evident in his patient-centered approach. He has helped countless patients, such as Chelsea, a handicapped patient who required extensive dental work. Dr. Ramirez's dedication to providing her with the best possible care and improving her quality of life showcases his unwavering commitment to his patients.

Dr. Alhashim is a Board Certified Prosthodontist with more than 15 years of experience in the dental field.

He completed his residency in prosthodontics at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Dr. Alhashim is an avid cyclist and enjoys running, as well. After years of working in private practice and academia, both nationally and internationally, he was thrilled to join the Nuvia team in 2022 and provide not just dental implants, but permanent teeth in 24 hours.

Dr. John Lytle, originally from Glendale, California,  is a dental implant surgeon in Phoenix with  Nuvia and brings a wealth of experience. After graduating from the University of Southern California (USC), he practiced in Pasadena, CA for 35 years, honing his skills in oral surgery and general medicine. Dr. Lytle didn’t always know he would practice dentistry but followed in his father’s footsteps who was an oral surgeon as well.

At Nuvia, Dr. Lytle combines his extensive experience in medicine and dentistry with a deep commitment to patient care. His approach is shaped by the belief that every patient deserves a confident smile, a principle he applies with every full mouth dental implant procedure.

Personal Life

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lytle is a devoted family man with ten children. His love for family extends to his hobbies, which include raising animals like dogs, chickens, and goats, and tending to his garden. These pursuits reflect his nurturing nature and love for life.

Dr. AlRubaie got his start in dentistry early on as a 16 year old dental assistant. He loved that he could help change people’s lives for the better and knew that dentistry was the field for him. He is now a dental implant surgeon and periodontist in Chicago with Nuvia Dental Implants.

After graduating dental school, Dr. AlRubaie finished a 2-year residency program in advanced education in general dentistry from Miami, Florida and practiced for 6 years as a general dentist in Illinois and Florida. Afterwards, Dr. AlRubaie joined a 3-year dual degree residency program in Periodontology and Master of Science at Nova Southeastern University/College of Dental medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. AlRubaie is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has a great passion for his field. He did his Master thesis about dental implants and he has been published in peer reviewed journals. During his spare time, he enjoys practicing kickboxing and travels for scuba diving spots all over the world.

Meet Dr. Velez, your restorative dentist at Nuvia's San Antonio location. He chose a career in dentistry for its unique blend of medical science and work-life balance. Dr. Velez is deeply passionate about the power of a smile to light up one's soul. When he's not at the office, Dr. Velez is an avid triathlete, a passion he has shared with his wife for over two decades. This hobby has taken him to a myriad of places he might never have visited otherwise, racing in locales ranging from Ecuador to Hawaii.
