Meet Dr. Tutor, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Nuvia in Pittsburgh
About
Prior to becoming an OMS, Dr. Tutor did a lot of carpentry. This hobby is what led him to look for a career where he could use creativity and work with his hands.
After attending dental school at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Tutor spent a year in private practice before a year-long internship at Parkland Hospital and the rest of his oral & maxillofacial residency at Allegheny General Hospital.
Now, he helps patients restore their smiles everyday at Nuvia.
Dr. Tutor loves that he works with a CRNA so he can focus fully on the All-on-4® procedure. When Dr. Tutor learned that he would be able to help patients get back their oral health with permanent teeth in 24 hours, he knew he wanted to be part of the Nuvia team in Pittsburgh.
When he isn’t working as an oral surgeon, Dr. Tutor loves to golf, deer hunt, and go fishing.
Get to Know Dr. Vance Tutor, DDS
Our doctors are not just experts; they are visionaries in the field of dental implantology. With decades of surgical and restorative experience, and a passion for pioneering research, they are at the forefront of innovation.
From a young age, Dr. Joseph Cornatzer knew he wanted a career centered around helping others. That calling led him to dentistry, where he discovered a true passion for restoring smiles and helping patients feel better—often in just a single visit.
Dr. Cornatzer earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, followed by three years of service in the U.S. Air Force.
After his service in the Air Force, Dr. Cornatzer spent two decades as a restorative dentist in private practice, where he helped many patients restore their smiles with full mouth dental implants. With a love of this procedure, Dr. Cornatzer is now a key member of the Nuvia team in Pittsburgh.
Having seen firsthand the frustration patients face with temporary dentures—cracking, breaking, and repeated visits—Dr. Cornatzer was drawn to Nuvia’s approach. At Nuvia, his patients skip the setbacks of temporary teeth and leave with their permanent teeth just 24 hours after surgery.
When he’s not with patients, Dr. Cornatzer enjoys jet skiing, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with his family. He’s also a proud dog dad to Maverick and Nova and recently discovered a love for go-karting.
Dr. Zachary Weber, DMD, MD, is a dual-degree, board certified, highly accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon with both medical and dental degrees. He earned his dentistry degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
Dr. Weber then obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He also completed his rigorous six-year residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Weber spent nearly a decade as a faculty clinical educator of oral surgery residents and dental students at Columbia University Medical Center. Today, he continues to shape the future of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special focus in All-on-X full arch dental implant surgery.
Dr. Weber takes pride in being part of a process that offers patients permanent teeth in just one day. He understands the frustrations that come with temporary solutions, such as the risk of breaking and the inconvenience it can cause.
With Nuvia’s approach, patients experience an immediate and life-changing transformation, leaving the office with a confident, fully restored smile.
What sets Nuvia apart, in Dr. Weber’s eyes, is the collaborative team of skilled surgeons, CRNAs, and restorative doctors who combine their experience and talents to provide exceptional results.
As an oral surgeon in Harrison, NY, Parsippany, NJ and Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Weber wants those who are considering dental implants to know that at Nuvia every patient is in capable and caring hands. He approaches each case with the same diligence and respect he would expect for himself, never cutting corners and always prioritizing safety and quality care.
Outside of the office Dr. Weber loves spending time with his family, attending both of his kids’ sporting events and enjoying the outdoors. He and his wife love their two French Bulldogs.
